The present paper analyzes the reversal of the order/ disorder dichotomy, both on screen and on stage, having as focal points two case-studies – a movie narrating a drama of madness in a mental institution and a play redefining the connection actor-audience. Both works place their characters inside a complicated microcosm of simulations and biased perceptions, diagnosing them based on shifting views and principles and raising questions about deeper meanings and the different levels of reality. order/ disorder; simulation; artificial reality; personal utopia
