Abstract

Throughout this paper, we demonstrate the value and importance of the categorical processes critical to spatial cognition, of the use of memory for the identity of the community, and of the formation of social representations about the world. Maddox et al. state that social information has stronger associations to people associated with the locations than to the locations themselves. Decety and Sommerville posit that the right inferior parietal cortex in conjunction with prefrontal cortex may be critical in distinguishing the self from the other. Pessach demonstrates the value and importance of institutional diversity in social remembering practices. Keywords: social, memory, construct, representation, remember, practice
