This chapter considers conversation. Whosoever associates himself with another in a way of familiarity and converse, ought to propose one or both of these two ends: either to communicate, or to receive benefit; which may be as well by improving our knowledge, as by refreshing our spirits, over tired with business, labour and study, in an innocent liberty of pasttime and discourse.
