Conferred annually on an individual or group, Dr. Aggarwal was honored for his years of service and many contributions that span publishing, programming, sponsorship and more in support of SIGKDD. Dr. Aggarwal is Distinguished Research Staff Member at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center and was the recipient of the 2019 SIGKDD Innovation Award.
