With increased internet connectivity and technical breakthroughs, multimedia’s significance is expand- ing on a daily basis. The term “interactive multimedia” refers to a real-time multimedia commu- nication network in which information is offered and demonstrated in actual environments. The input factors have a large effect on the output results generated by the people in this situation. Numerous technological problems and trade-offs are now restricting the evolution of interactive multimedia applications, particularly video streaming and real-time virtual communities. It has several technological hurdles, in particular instances of transmission speed, delay, capacity, com- patibility, and accessibility. As a result, enhancing current interactive multimedia communica- tions networks with forthcoming applications and services like 6G networks often meets today’s multimedia consumers’ positive perceptions. New network advancements are constantly being developed, which would ultimately render multimedia apps outdated. Furthermore, it is difficult for multimedia applications to keep up with the ever-growing networking needs, which may fre- quently create technological developments that pose a drawback for interactive multimedia com- munications networks.
