A Structural Analysis of NGO Network Member Participation and Power Distribution: The Case of the... <jats:sec><jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>This piece uses resource dependence theory to analyze an NGO (non-governmental organization) network, the "Network for Combating Domestic Violence of China Law Society" (NCDVCLS), an organizational network formed by specialists, social elites, GONGOs (government-operated NGOs), grassroots NGOs, and other participants. It identifies the matching of resources among members to be the core factor of success in its formation.
