Since our publication’s founding, thanks to the hard work of our editorial department, our anonymous reviewing system is improved; our professional editing team has made enormous strides; we’ve received growing numbers of submissions; submission quality has improved; and publication of the Review in both Chinese and English has continued. Especially since publication of the English-language edition began in Boston, the Review ’s influence has also grown steadily. In addition, the Review has secured commitments of long-term support from Chinese foundations. The Review has been growing a day at a time. My son, Nalu ( 那路 ), is three and a half years old. It is as if he has grown up alongside the Review . In the spring of 2010, the cherry blossoms in bloom, he arrived with his parents in Nagoya, Japan. His three months at the Umeno- mori Waldorf Kindergarten were filled with the new language and culture of a foreign land. Yet his curiosity and outlook expanded dauntlessly.
