Today’s string teachers and performers of all ages performers of all ages owe owe her a debt of gratitude for opening up the mystery of teaching strings and drawing so many into the field through her a debt of gratitude for her vibrant personality and persistent interest in them. After opening up the mystery of many years, the originality of Phyllis’ inventive ideas and teaching strings and drawing trailblazing involvement in string teaching becomes more and more impressive. She traveled the world as a string teacher to so many into the field through children and adults, sharing her original teaching methods her vibrant personality and and incredible cello playing. We hope you will enjoy these persistent interest in them. memories we still hold so dearly in the scrapbook of our minds.
