In this remarkable book, Talitha Amadea Aho, a Presbyterian pastor with a background in children’s and youth ministry, tackles the daunting task of engaging in Christian min- istry with young people whose lives are shaped by the climate crisis. “The world as we know it is ending,” she writes, “those with their eyes open realize that much of the world is already beyond saving” (p. 1). In a tour de force that blends personal experience, mem- oir, tremendous knowledgeability about the climate crisis, and a compelling vision of living together in vulnerability and hope, Aho’s warm and beautifully written narrative is truly must reading for all who love young people and care about their futures.
