[There is an important separation between the satirist and the material he or she produces. Satirists are a people with opinions, but their material may not convey all of their beliefs. Are there more liberal satirists than conservative ones? Yes. Does modern political satire have a leftist bias? Perhaps, but this needs to be determined.
