[Planning and designing of dental office are one of the key steps for smooth functioning and efficient patient care delivery. The design and architecture of dental office will reflect a message to the patient. Taking time to plan these design elements strategically and intentionally could be one of the most important decisions. The design of a dental office space is a perfect way to share information about healthcare facility and value of treatment to the patients. As in the era of advancements and technologies, it is of utmost importance to anticipate the future technology advancement while planning the dental clinic. Day by day, patients are more demanding and want pleasing environment. If patients are not comfortable and happy in more ways than one, they will likely have a reason to search elsewhere for that ideal patient experience. As we have been practising dentistry, patients’ need and expectations also change over a period. As we have learned in the pandemic, apart from the functional needs of patients, there are also concerns about infection control, air quality, social distancing and sterilization.
