[Building a rule-oriented, open, inclusive, democratic and transparent rule of law path is an important means to ensure the long-term, stable and healthy development of OBOR. This contribution explores the bi-directional relationship between the construction of the rule of law of OBOR and implementation of TFA. OBOR is initiated by China and how China implements the TFA will influence the construction of the rule of law of OBOR. In addition to its own implementation of TFA, how China promotes the participating BRI countries to implement the TFA will also contribute to the construction of the rule of law of OBOR. While China faces challenges in terms of the implementation of TFA by many BRI countries in a short period of time, China needs to deal with these obstacles in China’s promotion of the OBOR.]
