[This chapter challenges the widely discredited myth that more guns equal less crime. In addition, a legal argument is made for gun ownership as a prima facie right, and the Second Amendment is reviewed through different modes of constitutional interpretation. The social contract theory is used as basis for the design for societal wellbeing, and a corresponding model for gun reform is proposed.]
