[Based on what explained in the preceding sections, this chapter reports an overview of the Blorin project, implementing Demand Response and Vehicle To Grid services supported by a permissioned blockchain platform. We describe how the use of the Hyperledger Fabric blockchain for developing our blockchain-based energy management platform. Subsequently, the configuration of a distributed network is considered, supported by a multi-host environment in which all actors of the Blorin project have a role and give a specific contribution. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) is a blockchain that permits participants accessing and managing their transactions in the platform through suitable smart contracts, which can be used also for validating data. The special feature of this project is that it allows in a modular way the access to different services supported by specific applications. Thus the energy services taken into account are only two of the possible ones. Participants will thus take part in the platform through plug-and-play services and an approach that allows, with scalable solutions, the participation of a large number of end users, while preserving privacy.]
