[Ashta concludes the book and looks at the “So What” question. How does this realistic theory make any difference to other social entrepreneurship theories, education and research? Ashta’s first significant contribution in this chapter is to highlight the reasons for dynamism that emerged from this book. Second, this work combines the work on social entrepreneurship with that on microfinance to enable a richer understanding of both. Ashta’s third contribution is to show how this relates to management education to stimulate growth of social enterprises and reinforcing the need to make the prospective social entrepreneur prepared for success and failure.
