[Microvascular abnormalities are a key feature of systemic sclerosis and typically occur early in the disease course. Nailfold capillaroscopy is a noninvasive clinically useful tool that can provide valuable information for the diagnosis and prognosis of primary Raynaud’s disease and the scleroderma spectrum of autoimmune disorders.
