[The literature discussed in Chap. 2 and a focus group discussion carried out with two experts reveal that students experience multifaceted challenges when they try to understand and communicate their understanding about CDS. Hence, the primary objective of this monograph is enhancing students’ learning in and about CDS. For this purpose, the authors aimed at developing a personalized and adaptive OILE that supports and facilitates the students learning.
