This tool analyzes twenty years of historical data stored in a NoSQL database and simulates markets to find a business opportunity. In the airline industry, route network development, schedule design, fleet assignment, aircraft routing, and crew scheduling represent the five facets of the air transportation optimization problem. In this work, we focus on the route network development problem which aims to reduce costs and maximize revenues by improving the quality of service. More specifically, we address the question of deciding whether to add a flight which connects new markets or modifying the frequency of an existing flight.
