Abstract

[Pedestrian flow modelling has attracted the interest of a large number of scientists from different research fields, as well as planners and designers. While planning the architecture of buildings, one might be interested in the pedestrian flow around their intended design so that shops, entrances, corridors, emergency exits and seating can be placed at the best locations.
