[Homogeneous multiprocessor platforms are widely used on modern computing systems. Energy-aware scheduling on homogeneous platforms also receives wide research interest. This chapter surveys energy-aware scheduling research that is done on homogeneous DVFS multiprocessor platforms. These works are further classified by task types under consideration, namely, frame-based tasks, tasks with precedence constraints, periodic tasks, and sporadic tasks.
