A 20-year-old man had a fish-hook injury of the right upper eyelid. The hook was advanced into the subcutaneous tissue in a forward direction and was extracted from the second exit wound of the lid without cutting. We believe that the advance-without-cut method may be useful to remove fish hooks embedded in the superficial eyelid.
