Immunization of Complex Networks: Topology and Methods

Immunization of Complex Networks: Topology and Methods This article discusses the main methods of immunization of modern computer networks with a central focus on the topologies and types of the considered graph structures. Existing immunization strategies and methods for solving the problem of optimally selecting nodes for immunization within the considered topologies are also evaluated and compared. The main advantages, disadvantages, and areas of application of the discussed topologies and methods for solving immunization problems are described. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Automatic Control and Computer Sciences Springer Journals

Abstract

This article discusses the main methods of immunization of modern computer networks with a central focus on the topologies and types of the considered graph structures. Existing immunization strategies and methods for solving the problem of optimally selecting nodes for immunization within the considered topologies are also evaluated and compared. The main advantages, disadvantages, and areas of application of the discussed topologies and methods for solving immunization problems are described.
