Modern engineering as a problem-solving approach can be integrated with the medical field to obtain rational and better-quality products than conventional techniques. Similarly, pharmacoengineering is a new frontier cutting-edge translational paradigm in academia and industry to lay a strong foundation, starting from the appropriate selection of material to the final output. The technology will enrich and enhance academic and industry synergy by solving relevant and pressing market potential problems. The approach can also focus on national interest or region-specific challenges, such as neglected diseases plaguing India's North Eastern Region. These complications can be mitigated through innovative, engineered drug delivery approaches. Integrating the drug delivery approaches in conjunction with a multidisciplinary outlook (engineering, simulation, and data science) would enhance the potential scope of developing innovative solutions with the blessing of advanced technological platforms to improve the overall quality of life. Concurrently, strengthening academics and industry associations to develop a translational pharmaceutical product can also contribute toward the nation's socio-economic upheaval.
