[This chapter discuss about the practical aspects of prosody modification. A computationally efficient method for determining the instants of significant excitation is proposed. The application of proposed duration and intonation prediction models has been demonstrated using concatenative text to speech synthesis system. A new duration modification method using vowel onset points and instants of significant excitation is proposed. For voice conversion application, methods are developed to modify the formant structure and to impose the desired pitch contour on a given speech signal.]
