[In this chapter, other than summarizing the achievement of this book, a number of important issues are discussed. These include the issue of scaling – how can the principles and methodologies developed in this book be scaled up to handle the real-world environment, both internal and external to the agent involved? Another critically important issue is the representation and learning of mental procedures. This will imbue the agent with vastly improved adaptive abilities. Other issues such as the constraints imposed by personality, culture and social situations on behavior are briefly discussed. Lastly, comparisons are made between the paradigm developed in this book and the various methodologies of traditional AI.]
