A Catalogue of the Conchaspididae (Insecta, Homoptera, Coccoidea) of the World (1) Summary This catalogue of the scale insects family - Conchaspididae, lists all the taxa which have been assigned to it until 1979. The genus Conchaspis (22 species), the genus Fagisuga and Paraconchaspis — monotypic. The taxonomic identity of Coccus capensis Linnaeus, 1763, is established for the first time, it is referred to Conchaspis, and Conchaspis phylicae Mamet, 1954, is its junior synonym. All relevant references to each taxon are chronologically given.
