A Farewell Letter from the Editor

A Farewell Letter from the Editor WOMEN & THERAPY 2017, VOL. 40, NOS. 3–4, 252–255 http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/02703149.2017.1241557 LETTER FROM THE EDITOR To My Colleagues, Students, and all the Readers of Women & Therapy, I have been Editor of the journal Women & Therapy for 20 years now. Finally, this is my last issue. This was not an easy decision for me to make, but a necessary one. That is because it is time for me to move on and to work more intensely on the several books I hope to write in the next years. Perhaps even more importantly, it is time to invite another generation of feminists to shape the material in this journal and in the field of feminist therapy, which I helped invent so many lifetimes ago. I am passing the torch. Those of you receiving it, please keep it brightly lit. I have had the privilege and responsibility of shaping the material published in our field and often of mentoring first time writers and editors, who have gone on to publish many volumes successfully. I could name names, but you all know who you are and the list would just be too long. I believe that we were the first to devote http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Women & Therapy Taylor & Francis
