Résumé Un nouveau genre de Stratiomyini (Diptera: Stratiomyidae) d'Argentine. - Stratiomicrodon, gen. n., est proposé pour Stratiomys convexa Wulp, d'Argentine. Ce nouveau genre diffère de Stratiomys par les caractères suivants: tête plus étroite que le thorax et proéminente de profil; flagelle antennaire à quatre flagellomères; épines du scutellum rapprochées, situées dans le tiers moyen du bord postérieur du scutellum. Le mâle de Stratiomicrodon convexas (Wulp) est décrit pour la première fois.
