I am indebted to those division chairs who worked diligently to meet time deadlines. You know who you are. Those of you who did not meet the dead I ines also know who you are. I have had the unqualified support of three ICA presidents during my editorial tenure: Gerry Miller, Ed Rogers, and Steve Chaffee and ICA Executive Secretary, Bob Cox. They have to some extent paid the price of allowing change. I appreciate their commitment to scholarship, the organiza­ tion and to me. My present dean, Erv Bettinghaus, provided the necessary financial support to see that we got this done on deadline. He is also now president-elect of ICA and this should be good for all of us. I also thank all of those who gave their time and energy in the peer review process. Through a majorpartofthe past year, I was not at my best in terms of health.
