SUMMARY M. Descamps & C. Amedegnato: Acridomorpha collected by the mission of Paris Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in French Guina. This collection includes 2 new genera and 12 new species, a fact which shows both the wealth of the neotropical fauna and the very insufficient information we have on it. This fauna is especially remarkable by the immense numerical superiority of the Catantopinae, an artificial assemblage of altitude and forest forms. The new taxa collected are the following (the new genera are marked by an +): Eumastacidae: + Mariba balachowskyi; Ommexechidae: Spathalium bonfilsi; Acrididae: 12 Catantopinae: Bucephalacris spatulicerca, Syntomacris guyanensis guyanensis, Syntomacris guyanensis bicoloripes, Syntomacris guyanensis lutea, Copiocera portentosa, Chloropseustes guyanensis, Chloropseustes nigricans, Ommatolampis gruneri, Ophthalmolampis charpentieri, Ophthalmolampis ornatipes nigromaculata, n. subsp., Poecilocloeus (?) rubripes, Sitalces surinamensis; 1 Gomphocerinae: + Charpentieracris nigriceps.
