Summary Locusts (weight: 1,2 gr) were injected with various concentrations of cruched glands from 8 species of asilids. Comparison established between venom from those species about same size shows identical consequences. Results are based on statistical tests. One determined venom concentration injected into Locusts of various weights produces more virulent effects on young individuals. The venom produces specifical effects in head, thorax or abdomen.
