Contribution a l'Étude de la Faune Française des Bombinae (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Bombidae)

Contribution a l'Étude de la Faune Française des Bombinae (Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Bombidae) Summary R. Delmas: Contribution to the study of the french fauna of Bombinae [Hymenoptera, Apoidea, Bombidae]. This work is based chiefly on the own captures and observations of the author, and on study of various french material from different sources (particularly Paris Museum). Ecological and biogeographical data are given for each of 34 species now recorded from France. Their distribution and variability due to regional chromatic convergence and regional heterochromy, and their division into sub-species are studied in detail and taxonomical value of certain taxa is discussed. The species and sub-species recognized in France are finally listed according to their type of geographical distribution. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
