Contribution a l'Étude de la Régulation des Dimensions du Fourreau par les Larves Éruciformes de Trichoptères

Contribution a l'Étude de la Régulation des Dimensions du Fourreau par les Larves... SUMMARY The author has shown: 1. That the Trichoptera larvae do not always occupy the posterior end of their case and that the dimensional regulation is carried out only on the inhabited part by adjusting the anterior diameter, the minimum length of the posterior diameter and the length of this part of the case. 2. That the action of increasing the case is started especially by a certain degree of compression of the abdomen. 3. That the periodical elimination of the posterior end of the case is not a true regulation phenomenon. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
