Summary The author describes nine new species of Attacidae (Lep.) from Central and South America: Schausiella toulgoëti, Schausiella denhezorum, Schausiella moinieri, Adelowalkeria (Adelowalkeria) caeca, Adelowalkeria (Rachesa) caucensis, Automeris (Automeris) fleldi, Dirphia (Dirphia) abhorca, Molippa denhezi, Cerodirphia candida. S. moinieri was named after Mr C. Moinier who collected the typical material in Panama, Chiriqui Volcan, the other species occur in Columbia, Cali area. The study of the genitalia of the différents species of the genus Schausiella has shown that Arpiella Travassos, 1958 and Lepidoiticicia Travassos, 1958 are junior synonyms of Schausiella Bouvier, 1930.
