Deux Espèces-Jumelles Confondues Sous le nom Acraea Alciope Hewitson, (Lepidoptera Acraeidae)

Deux Espèces-Jumelles Confondues Sous le nom Acraea Alciope Hewitson, (Lepidoptera Acraeidae) Summary A thorough study of the genitalia revealed the existence of two dualspecies: A. alciope Hewitson and A. aurivillii Staudinger, valid species. However, no distinct difference was found, neither in the early stages nor at the level of ecological adaptation when the species were bred in their natural environment. The notion of subspecies and dualsubspecies is discussed. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
