SUMMARY Evolution of female and male gonads of Hypoderma bovis and H. lineatum begins by elaboration, during the 2nd larval stage, of a mesodermic structure different in each sex. Formation of cysts and follicules from gonies and characteristic mesodermic celles occurs in the begining of the third larval stage. It is closely related to the state of secretion of mesodermic tissus. Gonial maturation occurs approximatively in the same time in all cysts or follicules. On the other hand chromosomes study of Hypoderma bovis is reported.
