Different Spectrophotometric Methods Applied for the Determination of Aclidinium in Duaklir ® Genuair ® Inhalation Powder

Different Spectrophotometric Methods Applied for the Determination of Aclidinium in Duaklir ®... AbstractThree simple, accurate and selective spectrophotometric methods were developed to determine aclidinium in the presence of formoterol as interferent compound in Duaklir ® Genuair ® inhalation powder. The methods under study are absorbance subtraction, area under the curve and simultaneous equation. The methods were linear over the concentration range of 5-50 μg/mL for aclidinium and validated according to the ICH guidelines. The accuracy and precision were found to be within the acceptable limits. The specificity of the proposed methods was tested using laboratory prepared mixtures and assessed by applying the standard addition technique. Furthermore, the methods were statistically compared to the RP-HPLC method and good results were obtained. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Analytical Chemistry Letters Taylor & Francis
