SUMMARY The authors of this communication, following their description in 1966 of the first known specimen of Microfalcula delamarei discovered in Madagascar, report a complementary diagnosis based on a second malagasy specimen. This second specimen is an adult male. The characters and distinctive lineage of the first specimen are confirmed in every respect. However, it is still impossible to provide exact details of the ecology of the species.
