Essai sur les Genres Beralade Walker, Sena Walker, Chilena Walker, Ergolea dumont 20e Contribution à l'Étude des Lasiocampidae [Lepidoptera]

Essai sur les Genres Beralade Walker, Sena Walker, Chilena Walker, Ergolea dumont 20e... Summary Y. de Lajonquière: 20th Contribution to the study of the Lasiocampids. Essay on the genera Beralade Walker, Sena Walker, Chilena Walker and Ergolea Dumont. From the study of genital armatures it seems that large differences are strongly evident between the above genera. Nevertheless several species have erroneously been included by authors in the wrong genus and most of them have even been designated by Collier as belonging only to Beralade. Out of emendation of some wrong or synonymic applications, the main object of the present study is to replace each species in its own genus. To that purpose it had been convenient to take up again the old name of Sena Walker (with Sena prompta Walker as type species) which had felt into disuse. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis

Abstract

Summary Y. de Lajonquière: 20th Contribution to the study of the Lasiocampids.
