She is a former editor of Women & Therapy and has edited ten books about psychotherapy. She is also the author of Diary of a Country Therapist (2004). Mary Ballou is Professor of Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University, a practicing psychologist who holds a Diplomate from the The American Board of Pro- fessional Psychology, Co-Chair of the Graduate Consortium of Women’s Studies Pro- grams in the Boston area, and Chair of The Feminist Therapy Institute.
