Implementation of a typed feature structure grammar processing system with numerical heuristics

Abstract

Abstract The present paper describes theoretical issues underlying an implementation of a typed feature structure grammar processing system with a simple numerical processing component The paper takes its point of departure in an existing system for representation and processing of typed feature-based grammars (ConTroll). The author has developed a similar system with two extensions: the introduction of parametrical types and a processing component based on numerical heuristics.
