Les Siagoninae d'Afrique Noire [Col. Carabidae] (5e et dernière partie) (*)

Les Siagoninae d'Afrique Noire [Col. Carabidae] (5e et dernière partie) (*) Summary The last part of the revision of the Siagoninae from tropical Africa deals with the phylogeny and chorology of the group. Depending on the data available, the evolution of the subfamily as a whole and of a few particular species has been outlined. The study of the species distribution on the continent and the definition of their areotype show that the phylogenetic sequences defined in the previous papers have characteristic geographical distributions; these sequences are thus confirmed. The populations of western, eastern and southern Africa are studied as a whole but emphasis has been given on the lake Chad area. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis

Abstract

Summary The last part of the revision of the Siagoninae from tropical Africa deals with the phylogeny and chorology of the group.
