Abstract
Abstract It was established a sexual barrier between a strain of Trichogramma issued from Prays oleae eggs and T. evanescens Westw. There are few morphological differences but this strain shows a phenomenon of epigenetic intersexuality tied to the ageing of the egg and to the temperature. The genetic distance calculated from the genes coding for the esterases that separate it from T. evanescens and T. embryophagum is important and these characters led us to consider it as a new species which is described in the next paper (Voegelé & Pointel, p. 000).
