New Genera, Species, and Host Records of Aphid Parasitoids (Hymenoptera, Aphidiidae) From Mexico

New Genera, Species, and Host Records of Aphid Parasitoids (Hymenoptera, Aphidiidae) From Mexico Summary The present account is an elaboration of the original material of Aphid parasitoids collected by G. Remaudière in Mexico. The breeding of 1400 samples taken in the central states of the Mexican Republic and in Baja California resulted in obtaining of approximately 90 samples including 15 species belonging to 10 genera of the Aphidiids. Of the aphid number representing 160 determined species, 40 aphid species belonging to 25 genera were found parasitized. The aerlier information counts 9 Aphidiid species from Mexico: Aphiius ? nigripes Ashmead, A. smithi Sharma & Subba Rao, Diaeretiella rapae (M'int.), Ephedrus lacertosus (Hal.), Lysipfdebus testaceipes (Cresson), L. sp., Monoctonus sp., Praon exsoletum (Nees), Trioxys complanatus Quilis. Our material gives records on the following species: Aphidius polygonaphis (Fitch), A. spp., Cristicaudus bicolor, gen. and sp. n., Diaeretiella rapae (M'int.), Ephedrus californicus Baker, Lysaphidus ramithyrus (Smith), Lysiphlebus (Phlebus) testaceipes (Cresson), Pauesia (Paraphidius) rufithorax, sp. n., P. (Paraphidius) rugosa, sp. n., P. sp., Praon latgerinae, sp. n., P. occidentale Baker, P. sp., Quadrictonus luteolus, gen. and sp. n., Trioxys (Binodoxys) basituber, sp. n., T. (Trioxys) bonnevillensis Smith (redescribed), T. (B.) cupressicola Gahan (redescribed), T. (T.) mexicanus, sp. n., T. spp. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
