Summary The author enumerates the eleven species of the genus Euchorthippus and precises their geographical repartition. He proposes an identification key of West species and describes an unpublished species of the French mediterranean country of which he establishes the differential diagnosis. The ecological exigency of the three Euchorthippus of France (E. declivus, E. pulvinatus and E. chopardi) are precised in the plan of the South-East and French mediterranean country: the first is the most hygrophilus, the second is an insect living in dry fallows, the third a very one xerophilus species (calcareous grounds). The author describes an intersexed of E. pulvinatus and gives some new records.
