Summary A. Lopez & J. C. Bonaric: About a myrmecophilous nymph belonging to the genus Microdon [Dipt. Syrphidae]: behaviour and structure of integument. Larval stages (larvae and nymphs) of Microdon sp. are numerous in Ants nests, specially in these of Lasius niger [Formicinae]. Morphological study of tegument histology explains some behavioural observations about these temporarily myrmecophilous Syrphids.
