The winter webworm, Ocnogyna baetica (Rambur), is an economic pest of various crops in the Mediterranean region : Spain, Italy, and Northern Africa (G6mez-Aizpurua, 1986). Surprisingly, very little is known on biotic factors limiting its populations (Beni­ tez-Morera, 1927, 1942, 1944; Canizo, 1928) and here we provide data referring to para­ sitic braconids. Material and methods Larvae of O. baetica were collected from November to January, during 1989-1991, and from February to April in 1992, in the agricultural fields and unculti vated lands in Southern Spain (Badajoz, Cordoba, Jaén).
