Révision des Canthonina Longitarses [Col. Scarabaeidae] de Madagascar

Révision des Canthonina Longitarses [Col. Scarabaeidae] de Madagascar Summary Renaud Paulian: Revision of the Canthonina Longitarses [Col. Scarabaeidae] from Madagascar. Among the malagasy Canthonina, the author displayed the existence of two distinct phyletic series: the group of Brévitarses and Longitarses these last being the subject of this paper. The author studies the systematics, the biology (he gives the description of the larva of Arachnodes morio Har.) and the distribution of Longitarses. Keys and descriptions of new species or revised species are given and illustrated. Eight new species of the genus Aleiantus and a new genus, Sikorantus for Sikorantus paradoxus, are described. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
