Révision des Macrotomini de la Région Malgache [Col. Cerambycidae Prioninae] Summary R. M. Quentin & A. Villiers: Revision of the Malagasy Macrotomini (Col. Cerambycidae Prioninae). This revision is based on the examination of all types and published specimens still in existence; keys and descriptions of every species are included for the geographical region involued. Genus Hovatoma has been split off, several new genera, species and subspecies are described, some neotypes, lectotypes, holotypes and allotypes are designated, and new synonymies are established. The revised catalogue of the Malagasy species stands now as follows: Genus Macrotoma Serville, 1832. M. androyana androyana Fairmaire, 1901, lectotypes ♂ and ♂ designated; M. androyana plicicollis Fairmaire, 1902 (new comb.) allotype ♀ designated. Genus Anoplotoma, nov. A. subnigricans (Gilmour, 1965), allotype ♀ designated. Genus Aulacotoma, nov. A. tenuelimbata tenuelimbata (Nonfried, 1892), neotype ♂ and allotype ♀ designated (= P. cinnamomeus Olivier, 1795, type-drawing designated; = P. corticinus Schönherr, 1817, nom. nov.; = M. jejuna Dejean, 1837 nec Klug, 1832); A. tenuelimbata perfusca, nov. subsp., holotype ♂ and allotype ♀.
