Revue Faunistique des Deraeocorinae Français et Notes Écologiques sur les Espèces Armoricaines [Hém.-Hét. Miridae]

Revue Faunistique des Deraeocorinae Français et Notes Écologiques sur les Espèces Armoricaines... Summary B. Ehanno: Faunistical review of french Deraeocorinae and ecological notes on armorican species (Hem.-Het. Miridae). Distribution of the 15 species of Deraeocorinae found in France is reviewed taking into consideration both the most recent data in litterature as well as numerous original data. Besides species widely distributed (Deraeocoris ruber, D. lutescens and probably D. trifasciatus) there are species which are mainly mediterranean (D. schach, D. punctum, D. ribauti, D. serenus) one species with atlantical affinity (D. cordiger) and one septentrional species (D. olivaceus). The types of distribution of the other species are insufficiently known. The distribution of the seven species which reach the Massif armoricain are either wide, insufficiently known or atlantical (D. cordiger). Three of them have an ecological signification: D. lutescens belongs to the biocenose of trees in bocage, Alloeotomus gothicus is one element in the fauna in introduced pines, D. morio is one of the species living on Ericaceae heath. The present critical review answers a need to establish within the most recent taxonomical framework and with the help of new faunistical data 1) the general signification of the distribution of Deraeocorinae belonging to fauna of France 2) the more particular signification of these distributions and the ecology of species of this group which live in the biotopes in the Massif armoricain. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Annales de la Société entomologique de France (N S ) Taylor & Francis
